140 × 60 pixels is the signature size most exam portals on our list use. What changes is the file size, and the table below shows how far apart the rules are: the bank and SSC forms want 10 to 20 KB, the NTA exams allow up to 100 KB, and the railway boards insist on at least 30 KB.
The tool opens at 140 × 60 px and 10 to 20 KB. Change the Min and Max KB boxes to match your exam and it redoes the file straight away. UPSC and GATE are the exceptions on pixels. UPSC asks you to sign three times, one below the other, so its image is much taller, and GATE wants a wide signature between 250 × 80 and 580 × 180 px.

Tips for this size
- Sign larger than usual with a black pen on plain white paper. A big signature scaled down to 140 × 60 stays crisp, while a small one blown up looks jagged.
- Clean a phone photo of your signature with the Signature Extractor first. It turns grey paper white and crops the empty margin, so the ink fills the box. SSC asks for the signature to cover at least 80 percent of it.
- Do not sign in capital letters. The IBPS, LIC, RRB and UPPSC notices reject block-letter signatures.
- For the railway 30 KB floor, a 140 × 60 JPG is often too small to get there. RRB sets 140 × 60 as a minimum, so raise the width and height in the same 7:3 shape until the output clears 30 KB.
