Which govt exams can you apply for?
Pick your highest education, Class 12 stream, date of birth and category. The finder checks each exam against the age limit, category relaxation and education rule in its official notice. Exams you qualify for come first, and the ones open for applications now come before closed ones. A Class 12 pass born on 15 March 2004 fits SSC CHSL 2026 but not SSC CGL 2026, which needs a degree.

How each exam is checked
Age is counted on the cut-off date in each notice, with your category's relaxation added to the upper limit, the same way the age limit calculator does it. For education, each rule in the notice is matched against your level and stream. When a rule also names degree subjects or marks in a subject, as SSC CGL does for Junior Statistical Officer, the finder shows you the rule instead of answering for you.
If your result isn't out yet
The SSC CGL and CHSL notices both let you apply while you wait for a final-year or Class 12 result, as long as you pass by a date the notice sets. For SSC CHSL 2026 that date is 7 October 2026, the last day to apply. Pick “result awaited” or “final year” and the finder will tell you which date applies. Once it has passed, the exam drops out for you.

An exam goes in only after we've checked its eligibility, age limit and posts line by line against the official notice, with page numbers. That's why the list is short for now; we add exams as we check them. All of these are all-India exams, so your state doesn't change the answer. Frequently asked questions
- Can I apply for SSC CHSL 2026 if I am a graduate?
- Yes. CHSL needs Class 12, and a degree is a higher qualification, so it counts. The age limit is still 18 to 27 on 1 August 2026, plus your relaxation.
- Can a final-year student apply for SSC CGL?
- For CGL 2026, yes, but the degree had to be in hand by 1 August 2026 (notice para 8.5). Applications for that cycle closed on 22 June 2026.
- Why does it say "possibly" for some exams?
- Some rules depend on things the finder doesn't ask, like the subjects in your degree or your marks in Class 12 maths. It shows that rule from the notice so you can check it yourself.
