Tips for this size

Crop to head and shoulders before resizing. At 200 px wide, a photo taken from across the room leaves your face too small to recognise.
Start from a normal camera photo, not a thumbnail. Enlarging a 100 × 115 px image to 200 × 230 makes it blurry, and no amount of compression fixes that.
Stand against a white or light wall. The bank notices ask for a light, preferably white, background, and a busy background also eats into the 50 KB.
Keep the Min KB at 20 for bank forms. If your photo is very plain and comes out under 20 KB, the tool warns you instead of silently producing a file the portal will refuse.
