Tips and tricks for the Rajasthan Police Constable upload
- 1OTR is a one-time registration, so take care with the live photo and both signatures the first time.
- 2Sign in Hindi the way you normally do. Do not write your name in neat Devanagari letters just for the form.
- 3Use the same signatures on every page you sign later, including the admit card and document verification.
- 4Driver applicants: check the issue dates on both your LMV and HMV licences before the next advertisement. Each must be at least one year old on its cut-off date.
- 5The age table here is from the 2025 advertisement. A new advertisement brings a new cut-off date, so recheck before you apply.
Frequently asked questions
- What is the photo size for Rajasthan Police Constable?
- The 2025 advertisement gives none. The photo is taken live in One Time Registration (OTR) on the Rajasthan recruitment portal, and the OTR manual gives no size. The only photo size in the advertisement is 4.5 × 3.5 cm for two printed photos for a later paper form.
- Why does Rajasthan Police want two signatures?
- OTR asks for your full signature in English and your full signature in Hindi as separate items (OTR user manual, p11). Sign each one the way you normally do in that script.
- What is the age limit for Rajasthan Police Constable?
- Under advertisement 1360, age is counted on 1 January 2026. Everyone must be born on or before 1 January 2008. The upper limit depends on post, category and gender: for a general-category man applying for Constable (General), the birth date must be on or after 2 January 2002. The full table is in the age section on this page.
