MP Police Constable Driver photo, signature and age rules

No official size publishedAge 18 to 38 years

Quick answer

MPESB gives no pixel or KB size for the photo and signature in the Constable (Driver) 2026 form. The rule book asks for one JPG scan instead: your colour photo on top, your signature below it and two lines of your own handwriting, on the format the form lets you print. The photo needs a white background, can be no older than three months on the day you apply, and must show your name and the date it was taken. Only men can apply, from 15 to 29 October 2026, and you need a heavy vehicle driving licence.

What to do, step by step

  1. 1Check your heavy vehicle driving licence before anything else. The post needs one.
  2. 2Get a fresh colour photo on a white background, face and both ears in view, taken within three months of the day you fill the form, with your name and the photo date printed under it.
  3. 3Start the form on mponline.gov.in and print the blank photo, signature and handwriting format from the link it gives.
  4. 4Paste the photo in its box, sign below it in your usual running hand, and write the two lines of handwriting.
  5. 5Scan the filled sheet in colour and save it as a JPG. If the upload screen shows a size limit and your file is bigger, resize a copy to that limit in the custom mode of our resizer.
  6. 6Write the declaration by hand as the rule book asks, scan it, and keep it with your other files.

Tips and tricks for the MP Police Constable Driver upload

  1. 1Age is counted on 29 October 2026, the last day to apply.
  2. 2The three-month photo rule also counts back from the day you apply, so an old passport photo can fail even if it looks fine.
  3. 3Sign the way you sign everywhere else, because you sign again at the exam and capital-letter signatures are rejected.
  4. 4Scan the format flat, on a scanner or in daylight. The rule book rejects the form if the photo, signature or handwriting is missing or unclear, and a shadow across the signature can do that.
  5. 5You get the admit card with your application number only, so save the form copy and the number.
