Why exam photo specs are so strict

Indian government portals use automated image verification systems that reject uploads failing even by a few pixels or kilobytes. SSC typically requires 200×230 pixels under 50 KB; UPSC asks for 350×350 pixels up to 300 KB; RRB NTPC uses 320×240. A rejected form during application season can cost you an entire exam cycle.

How this tool works

We use high-quality Lanczos resampling to resize your image to the exact pixel target, then binary-search JPEG quality to land inside the file-size window. Images are fitted onto a clean white background automatically — no transparent edges, no aspect ratio surprises. The entire pipeline runs in your browser using JavaScript and the HTML Canvas API.

Your privacy

Your photo and signature never leave your device. We do not upload, store, cache, log, or transmit your files anywhere. You can verify this by opening your browser's DevTools → Network tab and confirming no file transfer happens when you upload.
